Scope of application: For the sterilization of the environment and articles in the medical equipment, cosmetics industry, electronics industry, hotel industry, sanitary products and other industries. For heat and humidity resistant items, pressure steam and dry heat sterilization are preferred. Items that are not heat and moisture resistant can be sterilized with ethylene oxide gas. If glutaraldehyde can only be sterilized, the sterilized medical device must be rinsed with sterile distilled water (the saline may be corrosive). Any medical product must be thoroughly cleaned before being disinfected and sterilized; after cleaning, it must be dried before it can be immersed in glutaraldehyde solution to avoid dilution of glutaraldehyde.
